  • TONS of NOS Stude parts!!

I knew that title'd get your attention.....

I'm going to that RM auction in Cortland NY this Sat. 6/24... they've updated the info to show SEVERAL lots of NOS stuff; looks like just thrown in boxes....

    Here's the link: http://rmauctions.com/Default.cfm?SaleCode=JS06

I have no idea what's in the boxes judging by the pics; but I'm intending to bid on some or all the lots... I may go down to preview the stuff on Fri....

Do any of you recognize anything you could use? Maybe you could give me an idea of what some of it may be worth; or maybe I could look out for something specific you need?

I'd like to buy this stuff and sell it- at or near cost- to SDC folks; just to see it get into use, if possible... so if you have any info, or want something you see, let me know; I'm glad to help if I can [^]

Besides, if I can help someone, you might finally think I'm cool like the big kids........[8D]

Robert, most of us are just kids running around in grown-up bodies. Besides that, anybody who digs Studes is cool already...including you!

I will keep an eye on this one, since I know nothing of these parts and now need to learn. Nice to see good hobby folks on here.

BAMS50 -Robert, from what I can see in the pic, there are about 7 Studebaker parts in 1963-66 boxes, one in a plain brown long box is probably a fuel sending unit. A box full like this, at the high end could not be worth much more than $100.00-$300.00 tops. Rich.

Be prepared for a shock as far as prices go,anything R&M gets involved in tends to have unrealistic prices. That's how they came 2-B millionares. Good-luck Kevin

Yeah, I'm realistic... I realize chances are good that there'll be stupid money there...

But still, it is grad weekend, and you never know with auctions; so I'll be there- with my tow dolly..............

StudeRich- Did you look at all the boxes? There are several lots...

                No interest? Undaunted, I continue.......[B)]

I'm planning to shoot down there Friday to see the stuff... will make an inventory of anything I can, plus get a look at the Studes; especially the Supercharged Avanti and Hawk...[]

As I said before, I have extensive general automotive knowledge and experience... so if anyone's interested in bidding online or absentee on anything, I'd be glad to evaluate, send pics, or do a walk-around on these...

Let me know if you're interested, and I'll get you my cell #...

I'll post any info I get Friday...

Thanks for the feedback. Am I remembering correctly? Was that the Avanti with the roof rack, etc. that brought that much? Amazing! At least it sounds like it was worth your time/travel/effort to go to the auction.
