  • Cheap R1 GT

    Sal picked up the cheap R1 GT this morning. It's the car Kelly resored back in 89, but it's had a hard life since. It was being restored again in 2000, with $2000 worth of brake and suspension rebuilding, but the paint and the rest has gone to hell. the body is still stright and pretty much rust free. Sal had it running and driving within a few hours and says it drive very nicely. Before pix here:

    I've always wondered about people who buy beautiful automobiles and then let them turn to crap. That's a sin and a shame.

    At least this car will get a third life!

      Looks like Kelly (the owner in the 80's) wants to trade me a nicer car to get his baby back and save her.
