tie rods

I called my local parts place today to try to find a tie rod for the R side of my M5. They couldn't look it up, I know they are available from the vendors but I was hoping to get one to finish the "winter" work, last thing I need. Anyway does anyone happen to know a modern part # to replace that tie rod?
