Nice car, though. I'd be smart to buy that one and sell the one I have - needing bodywork, upholstery work, no air. My clock isn't working either!

Hey for the 'Buy It Now" price a person can't go wrong with this nice looking 1966. The interiors of these cars were arguably the nicest Studebaker offered since the late 1940s. Your can do far far far worse for 5K.

I agree that this is a nice looking car and I also agree that the interior is nice looking. The comfort of the seats is another thing. I know that different seats fit different people, but many of these 1966 bench seats were changed to earlier Studebaker bench seats to gain some comfort for the owners.

I believe my grandmother's white Studebaker was a '66, maybe a Commander. It was comfortable, air conditioned, and one of the last cars to come from my grandfather's dealership in Cleveland, Mississippi. I rode in it many times as a youth, until it was replaced with a brand new '76 Olds Delta 88.

I had a 66 Commander many years ago,my aunt gave it to me after it rusted out, mostly sitting in her yard. The thing only had 30 some k on it and everything worked, perfect interior. But was it RUSTY.My brother stole it one night and smashed the rad out running over a small tree,he kept going anyway untill the six siezed.I sold the instument cluster on E-Bay a few years ago,it was like new,and showing,I think,33k.
