Yet another GT Hawk custom

It was done years ago, not to my taste, though I'd bet the owner put a lot of money in it. It does look a lot like the typical "Car Craft" custom cars I recall from back in the day. Reminds me a bit of Dick's Speedster.

Actually, the canted twin headlights look acceptable to me. I don't miss the side grilles at all. The dated graphics have got to go, however! Too bad there are no rear views of the car.

Now THAT is Slick! Those headlites are a COMPLIMENT to that front end.

And those deep dish Caddy wheelcovers are cool too! Geez, to think of all those I've had go thru my hands over the years. There's a local swap meet near here this weekend. Gotta find me a set of those covers.[8D]

He actually did better on the quad lights then Studebaker did in 58. I like the hoodscoop, the Studebaker engine and the cars color. The graphics were the hot lick 35 years ago, but I agree they are dated. The Caddy hub caps might have been "cool" in the late 60's, not so much now.

I think the types of cars that get posted here are probably pretty representative of the group. I can only recall 3-4 Customs like this being posted in the last 6 months or so...probably about where we are as a group in terms of ownership and/or interest (of course this may depend on the definition of "custom" )
