  • Truck sold/coupe bought

A Studebaker net user bought the truck I won yesterday on ebay and this A.M. I hit the Buy It Now on this coupe. ( I need to retire from my retirement)

Nice car. I think that the body is worth about what you paid for the car. It looks to be an assembled car. It has a V8 and is listed as a "Commander", but the serial number is from a Champion. You can't tell by the dash. Is that a '55 dash? It has also been converted to 12 volts. Just commenting, not running the car down. I never saw it come up on eBay (too busy working on my own Studebaker). I think that it is a very good car at an excellent price. Are you going to bring it east or have one of your southwest/west coast subcontractors handle it?

Coming east as of now. The P.O. to the seller had a 55 parts car, thus the dash. He swapped the V8 rear and brakes too. Engine was rebuilt, duals added, but the owner does not know the engine size. (Appears to be a 232 from the outside) A bet of a mild custom with the color and interior being nice enough, but not factory. Most any NM C-K body is indeed worth his BIN, the fact that it's a driver is just frosting on the cake.
I might just do the brakes and a overdrive repair, might swap in a spare R1, might do a Caddy, depends on if the car talks to me.

COOL car, I like it too, more than that truck you had for all of one day. BTW, leave it all Stude. [8D]
