    Hey, BeeJay!

I can't solve your problem with Pics, but would love to see your ride.

    I own a '53 Commander Starliner. dark blue with white top. 350 V8 Chev/350trans.

I want to add A/C. Can you give me some tips?

    Regards,
    Bob (stude53)

Beejay, there seems to be a problem linking to webshots. I've tried, too and can't get it to work. I suggest sending a message to the webmaster. This is a persistent problem that there may be no fix for. I've been complaining about it for some time, myself.

Certain photo web sites like Yahoo Photos do not "host" pictures. They are only photo albums to be viewed at their site. Webshots may be one like Yahoo. If you try to link to one of these type of sites, it won't work. You don't want a Photo Album site...you want a Photo (or Image) hosting site.

Type in Image Host or Photo Host into your search engine. There are a whole bunch of sites that offer a hosting service free.

I use Flickr! It is free and works great. Once you upload a picture to their site, it will give you choices of different sizes of the picture to post here. It also gives you the URL in a box to copy and paste to your post. Makes it very easy.

If anybody continues to have trouble, email me the pic you want to post, and I'll do it for you.

Bob and BJ, get pics of both those Starliners up!

When posting pictures, hit the "preview" button to make sure you are successful before hitting the "post new reply" button.

In this case, you copied the page url rather than the url of the picture. Here's that pretty lark...

Dick. You da Man. Thanks for the help. Will venture into a Photo Imaging site. Am I correct that there is a size limitation.. such as 800 pixels?

No, but anything larger than around 640 pixels will be very large!

That picture is 1024 pixels wide. 640 is large enough, and will not cause you to have to scroll to see the pictures (and every post thereafter.) Just saw your last post, Dick... good show! To give you an idea, the second picture Dick posted was 500 pixels wide.
