    I have to admit I don't like the hill holder as it makes, say, parallel parking on a hill very difficult. if you touch the brakes with the clutch disengaged, you stop - even if you are planning on letting the car roll.

    Maybe I'd appreciate it more if I needed to drive in stop and go traffic in a hilly area, but I don't...

            That was the BEST explanation of the Hill-holder I've ever read.
            Many thanks. I never knew that Wagner was the developer of the unit.
            By the way, I'd also like to thank you for your terrific column in "Turning Wheels" each month. The Almanac is the first thing I read.
