Just check the Yellow Pages, any decent electrical shop can do one for you.

Some guys on alt.autos.studebaker from Texas were just discussing their experiences with various auto electrical shops, might want to post there and ask JT ("Grumpy au Contraire") or Bob Lyle ("Big Bob") where they'd recommend you take your alternator. OF course, Texas is a big state so hopefully their advice will be useful to you...

I am in Cali .. I have one. I did an article for Avanti Magazine a
few years ago in the process of putting in a GM one wire Alt. Its a
nice fit and is quite simple. If you want original, then you will
also need to buy that 80 dollar voltage regulator, thats what made
me adapt the GM alt!! As a matter of fact, my lack of money also is
the reason I adapted the Cobra brakes! Ha! I am such a loser![:I]

Voltage reg. is about $12 if you buy the later style transistorized one. Just ask for a regulator for a '68 Charger or similar.

Wow, well that info would have been helpful a few years ago! I went
back and forth online on the newsgroup and phone calls, Stude vendors,
and Napa auto parts .. Napa was the cheapest at 80 bucks. One Stude
vendor wanted like 60 bucks for the transistorized guts to solder in
to your old box. I decided that a GM alt solved all the problems.

                  And .... it did!

N8 is correct only if you have the ALE 5003 in a Lark or Hawk. The expensive Avanti regulator does not have a common interchange.

oops, missed that bit. yes that will help the OP but probably not the guy with the Avanti. Not sure what the difference is though, aren't they the same alternator?

The GM conversion works fine, the parts are cheap, and it really is
not much of an originality issue. Personally I think that using a
few parts from other brands is better then letting the car sit in the
driveway for years (like I have any room to talk here!). If the rain
stays away, I plan on driving the 4 wheel disc Avanti again on the
weekend. I went ahead and put new rotors on to replace the used ones
I got from my friend, and also new pads. You cant beat 25 bucks for
each rotor and 15 dollar pad set.

Here is info I wrote years ago that popped up on someones website!
