To validate my claims that I'm not just about part numbers and irrational behavior, I offer up this tidbit of proof.
One day last week, I went out back as the sun was waking up. What I saw moved me to go back and get my camera.
The results are depicted below. The sun was starting to make the clouds glow as it crept up the eastern side of the Sierra Nevadas. The color made me think of the flamingo shade seen on some '59 Larks and the dim lighting started to once again reprieve from the darkness, the pile of Studebaker sheet metal that can barely be seen in the foreground. Beautiful - just beautiful![^]
