Gord, If you can get a rotor off a 70-73 Dodge Charger they will fit with a change of inner bearing and seal. Then all you have to do is make a 1/2" thick dog bone bracket make some spacers and bolt the Charger calipers on.
Where do I find 70-73 Dodge Charger rotors with 4 studs?
Seriously, I was thinking more along the lines of a light, non-vented rotor that already had 4 studs to match the Champion bolt pattern for my '40. It's a light car; it doesn't need brakes capable of hauling down a 3800 lb beast.

Agreed the charger rotors would be a good option for someone making a Champion-based rod.

Re drill them and press in new studs but you would rather go with a little smaller rotor go to the early 70's Duster brakes insted.
