Driving down old Route 66 in downtown Amarillo yesterday, I spotted a blue Champ pickup in a used car lot. I mentioned it to Dorella and she asked if I wanted to go around the block to check on it, and to my surprise, I said no,[
)] and even though we were in no hurry, I continued eastward.[xx(] I am beginning to need a keeper. A few miles later, sanity began to return.

What if it is one of those that have been sheltered for years[?]
Even though I don't need it, I'll bet someone else does[

I wonder how much he wants; does he think it's worth a fortune[?]

Well, tomorrow, we'll drive the 59 hardtop down that street in the Veterans' Day parade, and if it is still there, I must succomb to my addiction ( Know where every Stude in town is and who owns it) and check it out.[] After all, I can't keep practicing this self control forever.
