  • Stude 4x4 running gear

I have been looking for a front axle to a Stude 4x4 for a VERY long time. I would like to finish my project. I accquired a stock Stude 4x4 truck many years ago but the front axle was missing. If anyone knows where I could get one I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I don't know if it's any good or not, or even if it will work, but we have a Champ 3/4 ton 4x4 with both axles. It has a 6 cylinder though. But it is in the junk yard...

I didn't think they made a 4x4 champ pickup. My main concern is that I get the front axle. I want the one built by Napco. It is closed knuckle with the tie rod behind the axle. Where are you located and is this a Napco front axle? Thanks.

I am in South Georgia and I have no idea about the truck. I'm really not 100% sure that it's even a 4x4, but I think it is. Our junk yard is about 15 miles from ny house, so I have no way of going to look right now. But I will find out. I do know that it is a 3/4 ton. I've never even paid much attention to the truck. It's in a separate part of the junk yard, not with the other 25+ Studes out there...

Thanks. No hurry. If you ever get a chance to go there and I check I would appreciate it.

mbstude. Does that junk yard have any 56 and up pickups with a short narrow bed? I am still in the market for one in fair to good condition.

A couple of the Champs do, but our only C-cabs are 49-53. I don't think that any of the Champ beds are any good. We do have a fairly decent 49-55 bed. And we have a 59 Scotsman with a nice long bed. A bed like th eone you want is kinda hard to come by... Good luck!
