  • Pictures of new to me 1962 Cruiser

    Hope this works....

Guy actually contacted me thinking I might want to use this as a parts car for my '60 Lark Wagon...said to run good, new brakes and tires with very little rust...We'll see Tuesday...

Afraid all youcan use on the wagon is the outer front fender skins; best to let me take this one off your hands.

Looks pretty nice for a "parts" car[}]

My 57 President came to me with an A/C arrangement like that on the engine - where the compressor's mounted where the generator normally would be. My underdash part it different tho.

Parts Car? I've driven cars on a regular basis that looked a lot worse than this!

If it runs and drives as well as told, that's what I'll be doing....riding and driving....:-)

Looks better than a few drivers I've had! The body looks decent enough that with a little work and a trip to MAACO this little Cruiser will shine!

We have a 62 Cruiser that's in about the same shape as yours. Ours has a different A/C unit in it though. Ours has 4 bezels that all point in the same direction.

I see a Cadillac in the background. A 58? 59? Is that yours? I love Cadillacs almost as much as Studebakers.

Ah-HA!! I see a 63-ish Caddy lounging in the backgound, dusty but on a floor jack. I might need those frount bumper buckets. See? I new there were Caddy Cooties all over this discussion group .

Your Curiser looks promising and too good for parts. I've hauled embarrased kids to high school in worse without air-conditioning. Congrats and best of luck with it! Ok, I'm a little jealous too.

                            Rolling, rolling, rolling....Keep those Studies rolling.......Fine Ri-i-i-des....
Rain and wind and weather....where the hell went that lever?.....who cares of we get there.....Fine Ride...
Move'm up, move'm out....hope the darn thing will start
                            Head'm up, head'm out......Fine Ride

Very sick (but thoroughly enjoyable) lyrics ladysilverhawk. You don't read Anne McCaffery by any chance? And yes I am bitten by the Caddie bug as well. The problem is parts. I really prefer something without the entire dash run by vaccum hoses that are worn out and leaking (hence nothing works in the dash). That frustration along with the difficulty to find decent and affordable parts problem did in any desire for them. I look and run away screeming and cackling madly. Oops! Way too much information... Mummble mumble mumble...
