  • 55 Champion Found in the AR woods

While on a test drive preparing for our Econo run down old Route 66, we were approached by "Crazy Tony" in his brand x orange rat rod. (I wish I had gotten a picture!) He approached us as we were sitting in the car on the cell phone. He introduced himself and told us of his friend Sterling with an old Stude he wanted to sell. We made a date to see it, and we think it's a 55. He wants $550 for it if anyone wants to rescue it. A tree branch fell on it in one of the ice storms this winter or last, which I believe also took out the back window. It wasn't running when he got it, and the head is slowly sinking into the front seat.

Looks like a 2 door Delux from the trim. The parts are worth the price. Hope someone gets it.

'Hard to tell if thats just dirt on the grille and fender chrome or pitting, but if it's just dirt & grime the chrome would be worth the asking price. The front end would be a good for a Champ truck.
