I need a gas pedal for a 1957 Studebaker sedan. The part no. is 535116. Anyone have one?

Someone lists them regularly on E-bay. I bought the one for the 53 a couple years ago but still see them listed regularly. One style has a reciever for a ball and I think there is one with a flat skid area. Which do you need? Steve

Well, thank you for opening this thread, Mike. I went out to the shop and looked at the pedal for my '56 wagon. It seemed a bit stiff and I pulled a bit harder (it was flat to the floor) and it came off in my hand.[:0][B)][8] Looks like I'll be in the market for one too.[:I] There's a temporary replacement from my sedan, but it's hinge is pretty rusty too.[B)] It's funny how the little things seem to up and bite one when least expected.
S.I. shows the pedal for C & K models only ('53-'64 and '59 Larks). Having no experiance with those models, nor any way to compare, I couldn't say if this could be made to work. However, they look the same...[8)]
