    Found this picture of an old roadside acetylene highway lighthouse. I think the advertisement on the side says "These roads are full of Studebakers".

    Neat.

    wow, as much trivial knowledge as I have, I have never heard of a 'highway lighthouse'. Hope someone gives some explanation and history of these things.

    That is one heckuva neat thing.
