I absolutely love this car. I have always like those headlight on the '53/4 coupes. I hope the car handles as well as it looks like it should. Wow! I do love this car!

Wow! Is right![] Great looking car! And you have to appreciate the amount of work that went into this build. I Do! And yes I would like to see a straight on side view. too.[] I also am not a fan of that headlight treatment, but think it works for this particular car.[:I]

There's sure a whole lot of nice work done on this car. But I have yet to see a C/K made into a "shorty" that doesn't look out of proportion. On these cars, long is lovely.

I remember seeing this on E-bay a couple of times.

I have seen a feature on this car before, or maybe an EBay ad as KDancy said? If I recall correctly it is a merge of the Stude body with Corvette Z06 underpinnings. It does appear to have a Z06 badge on the fender. It even has the Corvette outside mirrors. The would explain the need to make it shorter and wider to fit the Corvette chassis. It is very well done, I especially like the way the grills have been laid back for an even more streamlined look. At least it looks that way to me.

I am not really keen on the loss of the rear quarter glass... maybe a faux window (decal?) would make the cab look better?

Lots to like here. I think the cab would look better without the drip rails. Especially would look better without the vertical portion.

I like the Studebaker script/decal across the rear window. Anyone with ideas on how, where, who might have or could make those?

I had e-mailed the seller and told him how much I liked the car. Very well done.

Pat I don't think the front grills have been laid back[?] I think the rake of the headlights gives the optical elusion that they have been.
I like the side vents[] are they Z06 too?
Would love to see a direct side picture as well as inertior pictures if anyone has any.[]

You may be right Brian, maybe they are at the original angle, sure has a nice flow up to the lights. And looking again, that may not be a Z06 emblem, it looks like it has an S in it. I'm not sure on the vents.

I will offer this caution about yellow cars, they will attract bugs. I have a couple friends with bright yellow cars and it does not take long when parked at a show to find them with flies, gnats and other bugs all over them. I'm not sure why it happens, but seeing it and talking to them it definitely happens. I have joked with them that I will park my red car next to theirs to keep the bugs off mine. [)] So ask some folks with yellow cars if this happens to them before you pick yellow.

For that graphic on the windshield, you can have a sign shop make that up in vinyl. I had the same thing done for my fuel rail covers. When I told him I wanted the same lettering that was on my grill, he gave me some tracing paper and a pencil and had me tape it to my grill then lightly rub the pencil over it to get an outline of the lettering. He then scanned it into his computer and cleaned up nice and neat. We decided to change the S a little. From that he was able to print it in vinyl. The vinyl can be glued in place, I clearcoated over mine. He can do any color or size. If anyone is interested in having some printed let me know how long and what color. Last I checked the cost would be $30 or so. Here's a picture:
