Good job. I think the '57s are some of the nicest looking Studes ever.
Best not let Bess hear you say that!
I like the '57s till I see the tail lights.[xx(] A '56 I would walk around all day...[^] This '57 is really a sweetie though[:X], so I think her tail-light issue can be forgiven.

Hi
What a fine example of a neglected model! I had a nice driver condition one from '86 to '91 I foolishly sold, still looking for another. Love that Taupe Metallic/Arctic White combination! I too like every part of the '57 design except the taillights, which don't seem to fit the rest of the rear very well. If I acquire a '57 again, it will have '56 taillights since it will be no show car.
Now, someone else complete this:
So, Ole and Lena go down to Elmer Lueck Motors to buy a new Studebaker and Lena falls in love with a Taupe Metallic and White President Classic. Ole's not so sure, he's looking for low price and good gas mileage.......
.......someone finish this new Ole and Lena joke!
Enjoy that handsome car!

Well, I'm not much for creating punchlines for jokes, but I do love that car. What a way to drive the family around. Gee, I could put three grandkids in the back seat and some of their parents in the front. and I too love the color. Great job on a not only "Classic" but Classy "Lady."

Here is the last picture of the exterior of the car. Will get a couple of pics of the interior since most of the interior is original.
For some crazy reason I love sedans and station wagons. One reason it is great to get one of these on the road is that they give a different alternative to sedans of the big three and certainly are different than all the Hawks and other sport cars on the road.
Appreciate all the comments and getting in touch with some Stude folks I have not talked with in a couple of years. The other thing about the car is that it looks good from twenty feet or so, but it has blemishes galore when you get close. [8D] The sunglasses help you miss the blemishes.
