My '57's Air Conditioning--CLARDY

Does anyone have any information on this AC company (user's manual, tech manual, parts). Picture is from the control panel under the dashboard.

Towne & Country Champion, Clardy, Fort Worth, Texas (my car was originally delivered to Texas)

The plate is really chrome...not gold...picked up the background color.

Google search lists Clardy Manufacturing Company of Fort Worth, Texas. They manufacture refrigeration and heating equipment and have a phone number and address listed.

Thanks for the info...that had been my first stop...but no one answers the phone, and there is no answering machine..also no website...then checked a site that said they dealt with them...they said their website had not been updated for years. Looking more and more like they went out of business.

I did see an ad on EBAY that was for a Towne & Country Clipper...they must have customized the name for each car.

Anyone have info...or one installed in their car.

I can take more photos if that would help.
