I noticed his post in another thread where I didn't think it would be appropriate to congratulate him joining. So thanks, Dave, for giving him a thread here.

Nice to have you, Aminkorea!! I haven't noticed another member from Korea, so this is exciting. Hope you post often.

PS- Dave, why not edit the title so it includes his name........

I, too, noticed the post from Korea. In fact, I just went downstairs to mention it to Cathy. I wonder if he/she (from Korea) has been a lurker here or just found the post as a result of Erskine on a search engine.

I have been keeping an eye on the number of registered users on the Forum. I thought that I would make a comment when the number reached 5000. There is probably a large number of lurkers that are not counted in the registered users.

Hi everyone. Thanks for the welcome. No I haven't been "lurking" around. I built the erskinclan website while attending university in Tennessee. I got a lot of information from books that I found in the UTK library.

I took a trip to Huntville when I read in one of those books that Albert Erskine was born and died there. While in Huntsville I got pictures of the hotel, Albert's childhood home and one of the Erskine autos that is pictured on my site.

I also spent a year as an exchange student in England, where I was able to travel to Scotland and explore some of the Erskine history first hand. Everything on my site is there due to lots of hard work, research, and my fortunate opportunity to travel.

I have been living in South Korea, where I teach English, for almost twelve years, so I haven't been able to do much in the way of research for the site any more. I got bored a few days ago and decided to see if there was much else on the web concerning the Erskine's and the Erskine automobile and found this site.

When I read the post about Albert Erskine, I decided to make a post. Hope I didn't offend anyone. I probably won't be very active, but I will be around from time to time.

          Cheers.
