I often wonder, how WWII is remembered in the Soviet Union (Russia)
Being that here in the states we have so many cable channels and documentary's like the History Channel, Military Channel, Time life books, countless movies etc giving us a sense of the war, and a victorious ending.
Just a thought.

A captain at the 7th Army NCO Academy in Munich in 1955 said that Russia supplied about 90% of the materials with which it fought WWII. He had served in the war under General Patton. How correct the instructor was I don't know, but that is what he said. 10% would still be billions if he was correct.
