Was actually kind of disappointed not to find an R3 under the Chebby hood.

Stude mill in a shoebox bowtie. Now wouldn't THAT be something to talk about?

I had a pair of those flagged V8 emblems stolen from my 1957 President Classic the one time that I drove it to New York City. I was in a hospital for a very short check-up and the emblems had been pried off when I returned to the car. This was in the middle of the day and on a busy street by the hospital building.

Go ahead, do what you want, you're an American!

Seriously, if your car is 100% stock [u]and</u> you show it, probably not.
But if it isn't and you want them, go ahead.
          It's a studebaker badge on a Studebaker...not a crime in my book.
You might want to attach them with something that will allow them to be removed later without damaging the paint...
