Quick, someone grab the keys out of the trunk lock (of all three cars)!

Once again, another fine remembrance of history.

Great photo! I like the '64 "plain jane" look. [8D]

I noticed the Avanti powered R series engine emblem on the fender. Can't tell what it says. Would the Marshal be an R1 or R2 engine?

Depends which type of Marshal, IIRC.

Actually, either spelling is correct. Trust me, I'm a spelling genius

Too bad the 'Andy Griffith' show wasnt sponsered by Studebaker. Just imagine Barney Fife running through Mayberry with an Avanti powered squad car. With that said, I now have a new theory as to why Studebaker went out of the automobile production business....

Looks like a spotlight on the dark '64 in the background, but I don't see a roll bar like the R-powered car. The "shop truck" looking 3/4 ton Champ has some extra lighting too. Just something about fleet vehicles.[8D]

Wonder if that white Champ was an R powered one?
