Really nice truck. [] The step is rarely seen on a Studebaker truck although the practicality for some uses is apparent. The add-on park/turn lenses are interesting too.
As far as the holiday. My regular day off is Monday so I rarely get a holiday from work except for July 4, Christmas and New Years day.

I don't know how rare they are. I suspect that most people now prefer the cleaner look without them. Back when folks bought these trucks to use some would have found the step handy for reaching cargo in the bed.
I have occasionally seen a Studebaker pickup with this step. I THINK it was an option from Studebaker, but it could have been after market.

I almost never comment on the truck threads, but dang that one is near perfect. Fits in at the car show, and is a tough truck too. I'd be happy with that one.

Nice! I like the semi-matt look to the paint. I like the step, too, but here in Iowa, I could see someone opting out from having one as they are a perfect place for salt and moisture to collect and start pre-mature rust. But nowadays with them only being driven in nice weather, I think everyone should have them!
