  • Long Legs Contest

This was my second car. 1950 Conv. I was 16.(1957 Lovington, NM) I traded in a 1948 Packard for it. I quickly noticed the difference in gas mileage. Did anyone have legs this long at 16 years old? No wonder I was called "Crane".

I've still got legs that long and I'm 53. Problem is, these days they're a lot bigger around than they were 35 years ago...

Yeah, and 35 years ago I wouldn't put a dent in the trunk lid when I sat on it either!

Yeah, my width-to-length ratio was closer to that when I joined the service in '63. Now that ratio has flopped the othe way!

Well, after certain ages, many of us should be walking around on our hands trying to tease Mother Nature and Father Time into reversing one of their sillier ongoing jokes...

At age 13 I was 6 foot 5 and 160 pounds. Fifty years later I'm 6 foot 4 and 170 pounds. My waist size went from 34 to 36.[:0]
