Wonder why Richard named this "Canadian doll up", they have two-toned steering wheels!

I think the "side line" may not have been just the fix it's, but also the Accessory add on area, for the details that would slow the main line down.

Just occurred to me, I think that car's a Wagonaire. I can see the '63-style roof drip rail over the windshield, and the Wagonaire was the only Stude in '64 that still had that. I guess the "P4" on the windshield would indicate that too.

The Commander on the left has quad headlights the one on the right has single headlites. Why did they only put single lights on Commanders. I know it was an option.

The car on the right is probably a Challenger. IIRC the single headlights were standard on them. And the guy leaning on the car reading something, is probably an inspector.

I believe it's a 6-cylinder Commander Wagonaire, based on the "SP4" written on the windshield.

Had to look it up, but yeah six cylinder Commander Wagon.

Maybe it was a gov't ordered vehicle and they didnt want to pay for the other two headlights.

If I close my eyes real tight I can almost hear and smell everything STUDEBAKER. Its great
I'm not complaining Richard but just an observation as I go to your archive photos first thing ( sorry Champ Trucking You are second) But isn't this #7 I just don't want to get confused when we reach #14,999. Thanks for all the photos. For one who was not on the scene why STUDEBAKERS were being produced these pictures are the next best thing.

Also the Challenger would not have had the hood ornament, nor the body side moulding.

Weren't the oil leaks part of Studebaker's anti-corrosion technology?
