Hey Jeff, she kept asking me if it was modified, i said kinda to wich she replied what do you mean kinda. I told here that it had a Studebaker high performance package in it but it wasn't built that way, to which she replied that was fine as long as it was an original equipment option through the manufacturer[^].

As far as the insurance I'M NOT SKEERD! I can't wait to give it a wirl, I'm only 35 and have zero experience on the trac, but can't wait to get some. I was mainly just curious in case i was missing something.

I was quite concerned before running the '63 down the track. At that time it had less than 8,000 miles since leaving South Bend. Somewhere around 2nd gear I became fully convinced that it is worth it!!!

I've been with Hagerty for over 15 years with one car and another. Currently have Barney and my '67 LeMans both insured with them, and am fully satisfied with them and their service. I used my Hagerty Plus membership for the first time last month to get the Lark flatbed-towed to the brake shop - easy, no-hassle process: call the 800 number, wait for the tow to arrive. SO worth it.

John, I will send you my insurance agent's contact info. She takes care of the insurance for all of my family's cars, including those insured with Hagerty, Liberty Mutual, etc. In fact, she currently manages the insurance on your new Lark.

Both of my current Studes are insured by Hagerty as were my previous Studes. I have had 2 claims with them, one about 5 years ago and one about 2 months ago. With both claims I had a check for the repairs with-in 10 days of the day the incidents were reported. I have never dealt with an insurance company easier to work with than Hagerty

I had insurance with Hagerty, and got to checking prices. you need to contact a company by the name of Condon & Skelly at 1-800-257-9496 and save at least 1/3 of your money.

I don't use Hagerty, and have nothing against them, but at the Barrett-Jackson auction I went to their booth and got a quote for my Bearcat.
It was [u]double</u> what I was paying for insurance with American Collectors.
                  I din't switch.

I've been with Hagerty for many years and am very pleased. Fortunately, I haven't needed to make a claim. I do know people who have had to make claims with Hagerty and are very happy.
No insurance company with cover you if you are using your vintage car for racing.

Just got done dealing with a loss with Grundy. Very happy with coverage. Covered everything but parts and labor including towing and overnight stay at motel with NO deductable. When I compared cost with Hagerty, Grundy was much cheaper and had less restrictions. I was 900 miles from home when the incident covered occured.
