Thank you all for the nice feedbacks, I get inspired by you guys as well I see that some of you fellas already have your cars done and at one point were like mine or worst, that shows me it can be done if you want it bad.

widerim60, I already replace everything to stock studebaker power steering and brakes, when I first got the car the owner had left the new brakes and power steering half way done, so I took everything off and put the original power steering and brakes.

58PackardWagon, Napa did not charge me for core or asked me to send them the old master cylinder or/and wheel cylinders.

Today we put a coat of sealer and now we are able to see the little things that need to be fix or sand down where is needed.

                Yanquiel,

I caught this thread just today, and I'm very impressed with what you are accomplishing under close and tough conditions. Keep the pictures coming, as they are very inspiring. Maybe you could introduce your helpers, too, as they also deserve praise.

And I like the fifty-seven design and trim much better than the fifty-eight model.

Great progress. [^] You've come this far, so it's not too late to simply pop out the front and rear glass with their rubber seals. You'll be happy you did... just to seal those seams up, too. You can bet there's some rust waiting under there to crawl under that nice new paint job. If you expect to reinstall that stainless, you'll need to anyway. Good luck, it has inspired many here in cold climates!

Is it really necessary to take out the weather seals on the windshields? The only reason I dont want to take it out is so the rubber doesnt brake in the process, they are in good condition. I was going to use lubricant to put the trimmings back on, unless you guys already tried doing this and is mandatory to take them out. I know theres barely any rust in there because i kind of lift up a corner and did not see rust in there.

I doub't there is any steenking rust under your rubber. When and if you pop out your front and rear window{ to re-install your stainless} is the proper time to replace your headliner{ only if it needs it} but the windlace comes out first and goes on before tucking the headliner in at the sides where the saw tooth tangs are. If your headliner is ok you can carefully unhook it from the retaining tangs so you can get at the windlace retaining pinch triangles. To remove the old windlace just grab it and pull straight down. Then look up in there and figure how to release the headliner{ I used a rubber spatula and pushed it up against the headliner tuck while grabbing the loose end of the material with needle nose pliers. Slowly and carefully push the spatula and release the pressure against the material once the material is free of the saw tooth like tangs. .Bring the tucked headliner material down towards you with the pliers. Worked fine on my 60 Lark. This will allow access so you can properly install new windlace. Do this all very slowly and carefully if you are trying to save your headliner. If it is without holes and deteioration you can spray paint if it is cloth or vinyl if it has stains. jimmijim

Well today we made good progress:

                          We change:

                          Spark Plugs
                          Spark Plug Wire
                          Distributor Cap
                          Distributor Rotor
                          Change Oil
                          Change Oil Filter
Flush Radiator and put new fluids in there.

The engine sounds pretty good we just need to take it to a good mechanic so they can tune the timing and tune up the carburetor nicely.

I was only able to drive it a couple of feet's front and back notice in this video the nice brand new camaro that was on my way in my cousins yard and he was not around to move it to take my car for a spin, but soon I will be driving it already.

                                Thanks.

Bob am only doing the prep outside, but when we are ready to paint we will paint it in a booth, where I have the car now is not a good idea to paint it there as is a yard and it has a lot of sand/dust.
