Today, I decided to take one of my utility trailers and use it for a work platform on the C-Cab I have removed from its frame. I did not like the cement block stacks I had created to facilitate raising the cab high enough to clear the frame. The way the wind crashes through my hill ... the four pillars of blocks were just not trustworthy in this open sided barn. I had to remove the fenders and tailgate, and it was just dumb luck that I had the blocks spaced just wide enough to clear the lights with only minor scraping.

I should be able to move the cab out into the open and to other areas of my yard depending on the needs of particular tasks.

I have an Idea to use the rear cab mount to fabricate a hinge mount so that I can tilt it back in order to work on replacing the rusty floor without having to crawl under it to work. I hate welding while lying on my back.

Work will have to stop for a day or two. I have a customer who needs a new toilet installed tomorrow...and a bunch of Honey-Do stuff.
