  • Thanks from Lionel Stone

    Dear Friends of Lionel Stone,
Happy Thanksgiving to all. He is doing very well, pushing so hard at therapy that the first rehabilitation facility had to send him over to a higher level of rehab where they can work him out (or is it the other way around?) up to 3-4 hours a day. He is working hard to be walking soon which is his main goal. He will be staying in Bellingham and as soon as he moves to his more permanent location in a couple of weeks, if anyone wants, we can give you his phone so you can call him directly.

All of the support from Dad's Studebaker and Avanti friends has been fantastic and I only wish I could call everyone back personally. We will try to find a way for him to keep his hands and head busy in the Studebaker world as I think that will make him happiest.

    Happy Holidays,
    Paula and Dave Friedman

Thanks very much for letting us know. Lionel is responsible for several artifacts cluttering my property. Just as the movie "It's A Wonderful Life" he has touched, in a positive way, more lives than he will ever know. Because of him, I can proudly drive my Land Cruiser down the highway without leaving a trail of blue smoke! I will continue to pray for his recovery.
