  • ID this heater??? Is it Stude???

I got this heater in a bundle of parts some time ago. I thought it was supposed to be part of a 53 Coupe, but I don't see anything like this in any of the parts books. Has anyone ever seen this heater? It was not originally chrome. It says Harrison on the back. Thanks

Harrison is a division of General Motors. Whether the Harrison division sold radiators and heater items to other manufacturers or not, I can't say for sure.

Harrison is always GM, I think it is a Division of GM. Corvair?

Thanks for the heads up on the GM connection. Corvair was air cooled. The lever on the side allows you to switch from lower to defrost. It wouldn't be too convenient from the drivers seat.

Yep that's right! But hey they had gasoline heaters at first, before they decided it was a dumb idea! maybe they replaced it with a hot plate to heat the water! [)]

Harrison also did A/C for Benz and Rolls Royce and the Hyundi compressor I fitted to my 62 GT is by Harrison.
