Last night I saw a green and primer grey 64 Champ long bed with a small trailer on the back with a C cab strapped to it. The Champ was really solid and almost rust free.That ment it wasn't from around here so I had to stop and talk to the owner. He was Jerry Lambeth of Thomasville North Carolina. Nice guy to talk to. We got on to talking about which model Larks we owned,and he remembered my 61 Lark from when he was here a couple years ago. I was suprised to hear him say that. Had a nice but short visit while he was waiting for someone to meet him and buy a dual point distributor.He has been on the road between Indiana and North Carolina for about 5 days or so buying and selling Studebaker parts and cars,all in that faithfull 64 Champ.

You're lucky you got away from him. Once he gets started talking, it's hard to get him to stop. On second thought, you might need to go back and check on Jerry. He may still be there talking!![}

Chris Dresbach said he saw something similer in South Bend, a Champ, with a small trailer, with a M series cab. I wonder if they are the same rigs?

You have a '61 Lark?
I also had a Stude sighting on Wednesday in Elyria this week. Two Larks; one green, one black primer, I think. Tuesday I had found a pretty solid black '50 Champion 4 door for sale in a rough neighborhood.
