  • you asked for photos of our 64 cruiser

hi, thanks to all of you who offered helpful advice when i mentioned here last month that we had obtained a 1964 Cruiser in Salt Lake City and driven it to the SF Bay Area where we live.

I'll now try to post a photo, after reading the instructions posted in this forum.
Bear with me.....not all of the instructions are making sense......oh well, based on what i am seeing in the preview here, I do not have it right yet.
you may have to try: going to flickr and searching under Graham X and look for img. 3458 and 3459, and others.

(i am unconvinced that it is necessary to shrink the shots down to 100k, i've seen some rather hi-res looking stuff here. what gives??)

Select the Insert Image button, then you have to right click inbetween the [img.] [/img.] brackets and this should bring up a menu with 'paste' as an option. Select paste and then it should work (at least that works with my computer). By the way, I use Flickr for storing the photos that I share here as photos cannot be shared directly from your own computer to here. Good luck

i have just pasted the url of the photo in between those brackets, as instructed in the How To Post A Photo section of this forum.

still getting nothing........sorry to bother you guys.

i guess i'll just say, it's a four door, bermuda brown with rose mist (i think) interior....a/c and white wall tires. presentable condition for now.

You should be an artist, as you paint a pretty picture.

Ted- I checked the "properties" of your post attempt, and here is that URL:

            http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.com/www.flickr.com/photos/50881250@N00/4036704704/

The part I made bold is what's messing it up. Don't know how you got that on there.

Here is what it's supposed to look like:

If you take that and paste it in the middle of the "img" brackets your picture will show. You can add these or just click the photo icon and paste the URL in between.

As you see, Carey got your picture to show. Before you try again, go back to Flickr and make it one size bigger; then use that new URL.

Good luck- once you get it the first time you'll always have it[^]

Nice looking car Ted, keep trying, I am sure if you follow bams50 (Bob's) instructions it WILL work and be large enough to actually SEE!

It looks like an all original car, all but the Ford or Chrysler Wheels. []

That photo bucket thingy is just WAY to difficult. Takes this poor old farm boy umpteen trys before I can get it right. There must be a better way.

Well, I've used the path indicated and can't get them to load either. For example:

The path matched the picture selected exactly. but it won't load it. Here's the path:

No picture for me either and I post them here all the time! Weird! The path is acting as a hyperlink! Oh well, here's his dash and steering wheel:
