Brad, I'll betcha I could straighten that thing.

I have a Rockne hubcap that looks just as good as that one. Only mine, the nickel was shot so I polished it to the brass. Neat wall ornament.

Nice items there. Must have been hard to find the Stude stuff. I really like the Sheriff badge.

Nice photos, but can anyone tell me why the Studebaker script on the cathedral style kick plates in Richard's 6th photo slants downwards to the right instead of upwards. I have a pair of these on my 1916 roadster. Thanks.

I also couldn't help but notice all the fire extinguishers being used as wheel chocks. Whats up with that? Nearly every car had one set up like that. Strange.

The AACA has a hard and fast rule about Fire Extinguishers and placement on the show field. If there is not one present and in the position as you see in the pictures, they will disqualify you and dismiss you from the show field with no questions asked. SDC is a little more liberal as to placement but you also need to have one on the field. We had an incident in Lancaster last year that required the use of more than one extinguisher and basically saved a car. Had there not been one present we would have had a big mess that could have cost the show field several cars. By the way, the car was judged and won a first place as the judges were made aware of the fire and it's consequences.

Richard thanks for the additional pictures. Wish I had seen that small Studebaker lighted sign as I would have brought it home with me.

Gee, and I've always left mine on the floor behind the front seat in Grace. The AACA judges never said anything.

That's OK to as they have to open the car but they better be able to see it.
