Two gorgeous pieces of candy at one time. How can this not be a good day?
I find the Lark very interesting. It looks like a four door and that in and of itself makes an unusal custom. I like the skirted almost tail dragger stance. I too like the way the two tone has been done.
A very nice piece of work.
The natural beauty of the '56 Hzwk just seems to be enhanced by the salmon and white color. I love it.
Thanks for the great start to the day.

Mornin', ChampTruckin', don't know you, but with your pictures you post daily, you're one of my favorite folks. Wish we could send pics on e-mail, I have a few neat ones too, but don't do or even know how about the photobucket thing. Thanks again, and the Golden Hawk is a dream!!! We tried one out for my 1st car,(in 1966) and when I spun it around in the road when I hit 2nd gear, Dad said "take it back, right now!". He probably saved my and the cars life! Keep it up if possible, J. Byrd

Several of the rod magazines have done monthly features on concept rods like this. Every so often they'll do a Stude one - I've seen some I've liked, but I've long since forgotten what mag and what issue. I wish they were posted somewhere but I can't seem to find any of them. I remember a lowered and chopped 61 Lark, a 62 or 63 Larkamino, and a 30's-type pickup made out of a 53-54 C-K, all cars that someone eventually did. Anyone have any of this pictures?

Pretty car![:0]
Hey Dick S.! Lookit the proposed seat upholstery!
BTW, with my 63 Cruiser, I thought about adding the turned down eyebrow moulding of the 61 Larks for a custom touch. Real easy to do and would add a distinctive touch.
