Randy, it's a '63. Its original to my car - matches the build sheet!

I did a rough calculation. Between parts (pistons, rings, bearings, gaskets) and machining (boring, turning the crank, valve job, etc.), I've got a bit under $2k in it. I don't want to put Ken's fee up here because I'm sure he matches his quote to the job, but anyone who wants to know can message me off list.

Here's the specifics:

- Cam was in good shape, re-used
- Crank also in good shape; turned .010 under
- Block had been rebuilt once prior, so bored .040 over
- HD Aluminum timing gear replaced fibre gear
- New crank thrust plate and front hub (Thanks, Mr. Biggs!)
- rebuilt oil pump
- New water pump
- flex plate
- engine mounts

Now I just have to get the transmission finished, dial in the bellhousing, rebuild the carb and check out the distributor. I've put more in it than I'd anticipated, but my job was good to me last year, and so was God [:I]

Can you believe that greasy mess is the same engine? It wasn't even the right color!
