Hey, was there an update on the pure stock drags? Did I miss it? I did see this post over on the Oldsmobile board:
I took in the races yesterday!Very impressive...except for the colour blind announcer! (JUST KIDDING DIEGO!!) There was a handfull of Oldsmobiles present. Those supercharged Larks really hauled ass!(A white Lark was trailered in behind Nadine...a 59ish Chrysler Imperial.) (TOO COOL!!!)
I'm not sure what kind of "glue" they put down every 30 or 40 runs, but it seemed to do the trick as I saw very few cars fighting for traction.I still can't believe a pure stock street machine can run 11:90s, but I was there and saw it with my own eyes.Hopefuly Diego will post with a few of the cars' times and perhaps he can be persuaded to post a picture of his favourite coloured Buick!(It was quite possibly the most unusual colour I have ever seen on a car.)
All in all, my brother and I had good time and quite possibly may return next year!
