  • Nice rear 63 wagon seat want it?

going through my storage building and found this seat there it is really nice one that's why I still have it, I think it is from 63 wagon, I know the bottom is the fold forward section, and the back I think is the back section but the solid hard back is not on it and I don't see where it was secured to the seat or any parts to fold down, if interested e-mail me...Bob

That really is beautiful, Bob. I know of two people right off who could use that. The rear seat-back was secured with clips that were screwed onto the plywood backing. These clips snapped over the heavy wire frame and held the seat back in place. If I recall right... One has to remove the seat back and push towards the bottom sharply to remove the upholstered unit. I believe the wagons were all done this way, likely, from '53 or '54 all through the Larks. You know, it's almost too bad they didn't do the sedans this way. It would have made the trunk much more flexible.

It seems like it is a 1964. What ever, it is made of tough material. The interior I put in my '63 had been used to deliver auto parts and it survived that with only minor scuffs. Lots of grease, however, and I recall using hand cleaner with good results. Nothing seemed to hurt it. Huck

I don't think the 64's used the lark emblem and the material was different in 62 so I figure it is 63.

Well, being that it's identical to the ones (except colour) in both of my wagons, I'd say it's a '63 also.

Does anyone have nos seat covers for a 1963 bench seat that would match the color and pattern of these for a 1963 Wagoonaire?
