      It clearly [u]LOOKS LIKE</u> a 1955 thru mid 1960 year model 224, 259 or 289 Engine, but the Serial number will tell which cubic inch it is, and what year. [^]

      It has the timing cover mounted fuel pump, so it should be a 1955 or later Engine.

      It also has the 1958 and on spin-on Oil Filter, but those were often changed or added, so not the best clue.

        I agree, Rich. Looks like my original '60 engine, but who knows, they all can look alike on the outside. I emailed him and he's not even near the engine to check the number for a week after the auction.
