  • Fox Business Studebaker connection

I was just watching Fox business channel and they were discussing GM's new plan to sell cars on ebay. One of the commentators (Alan Sharpio) said he's sold two cars on ebay, but they were both Studebakers, a niche market. Anyone know about him ?

That's Adam Shairo. Jim Bradley (Rerun) bought his '64 Cruiser and I bought his '64 Daytona convertible. At the time he was the Cleveland, Ohio NBC news anchor. He was selling his big house with a big yard and nice garage in Cleveland Heights to move to New York trying to hit the big time at NBC. He described his apartment in NY as about the size of his dining room in Cleveland Heights and of course he had NO parking in NY, hence the need to sell his cars.
Funny thing is I got an email from him just a couple weeks ago asking me if I was willing to sell the convertible back to him. He said he had moved to Fox and things were going very well for him. I told him I would certainly keep him in mind, but I'm not interested in selling right now.
His Studebaker connection was that he lived in South Bend for a while earlier in his career and he fell in love with Studebakers there. He is not very knowledgeable about cars, but is a very nice man.
