Value of this 58' Packard Hawk?

    I read the comments before I waited for the pictures to download. The Hawk looks much better than what I was expecting. I was involved in restoring a Packard Hawk to a senior first winner and it was much worse than this car when we started.

    Strange things that I tend to remember. It is really difficult to put the engine/transmission in a Packard Hawk with the nose on it (not like on a Studebaker Hawk). I remember because the engine/AT fell while we were doing it (no one or any body work hurt).

      It may not be in as bad a shape as it seems. Mine was in a garage for 25yrs, started occasionally. Only had to take off brackets, valve covers, etc., clean & respray them. The engine had 35,000 miles on it & ran fine. The seats were original & like new.

      Does the car run, what shape is the interior, underneath, etc. ? Whats the vin # & mileage. Also wher is it located ? If your not interested in purchasing it, maybe someone else on this forumn might.
