Nice GH, but

It certainly looks nice - and who wouldn't have fun with the dual quads and three speed O/D.



Seems strange, however, that such a newly restored car would have both the tach and the speedometer quit working while driving to a local cruise night.

And if they took the body off the frame - they could have at least tried to clean that frame up some.



Ah well, for 38k (right now), who is going to care...

actually looks pretty good to me. I can only spot a few authenticity items, and minor ones at that. Yes, I know the dual quads are wrong, but I'd leave 'em.

So, this begs the question: Is freshly painted grease worth more than just plain ol' grease?

This GH was on ebay back in March. The previous listing showed the VIN, which allowed me to view a copy of the original production order, which shows that this GH was originally equipped with automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes.

VIN 6800251 (from the previous ebay listing)
Body Number 576 (from the production order)
Engine number S2164 (ditto)

So the car is more than dual quads away from being original, to the extent that it matters, and I will leave that judgment to someone else.

Actually N8, I think I missed a deal. You recall the 390 point plus 56 Golden we saw in Lancaster with dual quads and AC. The guy wanted to trade straight across on Sid, my R2 GT.
