Well deserved! To be sure! Harry Barnes would've been proud to present this award to you himself.[^]

Imagine if the factory had embraced young Ted in the early 60s. I'd bet anything if Sherwood Egbert had been aware of Ted, he'd have officially backed him. Sherwood was working to doff Studebaker's image of dowdiness, and a young, intelligent, focused and feisty Ted Harbit would've done wonders to tie a youthful note to Studebaker's lineup![}]

      Oh to dream!

      Congratulations Mr. Studebaker!

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

I have to second what everybody said above. He is the main reason there is a Studebaker V8 in my M-5 instead of a brand X. He told me what could be done with the 259, then shipped me $1200.00 worth of parts with an invoice for what I owed. I don't think there are any like him in today's world.

I'd like to reiterate what Jeff wrote. How many times did I call Ted to order parts to have him ship before I could send payment. He epitomized the Golden Rule.

Being a teacher for so many years, I wonder what it was like to be one of his students - but many of us have been so when it came to Studebakers! Ted is what HERO's are all about. Congratulations on the award.

A more honest and deserving person has not yet been created. Ted is just a great guy.
