I see you are rooming with Dick Clemens. I roomed with Dick in Lancaster and hoped to repeat this year. He was a good roomie.

Life interrupted my plans this year, but I'm determined to be at Phoenix next year.

Both of you, have a great visit to Cedar Rapids.

Note to Dick, remember to get some motorized wheels when you get there so you can see everything in comfort.

I dropped Dick off at his hotel lastnight around 7:00. Gord was next to getting a bite to eat, everybody made it safe and sound.

Hi everybody: WoW I am here and haveing a ball. Gordon is a great roomie and when I take my hearing aids out I can't hear him snoring. So far he hasn't brought out the bag pipes from the car. John picked me up in Galesburg Sunday and brought me to Cedar Rapids. His wife was in he back seat. last night was fun night and she was there in a beautiful white sun dress and I accused him of hideing his beautiful lady. This old flirt is haveing a ball with all the lovely young ladies. lol

Yeah, that was us bummin' a ride. Got one from Ted Jensen, and one from Alan Meeker, Cedar Rapids meet chairman,too!
Others also (I'm sure I've forgotten some names)took pity on us old guys and gave rides (including the great golfcart rides around the Lancaster meet).

Note to Dick Clemens: At Lancaster you turned down or took off your hearing aids, I wore ear plugs so we both missed hearing any snoring including our own. Worked out well.
