Bob, what's wrong with the radio? Period correct vintage Motorola! Not Stude, for sure, but certainly a time-accurate piece.

My 57 Hawk has the same radio. I was glad to see it in another Hawk. Always wondered where it came from. I would think it was probably put in when it was new as the faceplate is the correct shape.

And by the way the car looks great! I have been watching its progress and really love the color!

The piece that goes right above the arm rest on the drivers side is mangled it doesn't show in the picture and the little piece forward of the ash tray is missing. on the drivers side.
