It's known as a "petty" ornament. optional on Nash and Rambler cars from 52/56.

IIRC, I saw that car and its owner on My Classic Car...or was it Car Crazy? ...about 3 years ago.

She seemed like a very nice young woman, very excited and having fun while showing her car.
We need more people like her in the club.

I like it! I think the white off sets the pink, so it is not to pink, imho.

Wow does that grab the eye...and hang on!! I like it, rather a lot. Finishing Studes in pink seems to be popular. Besides all the Tahiti Coral Larks that have shown up recently, one of the cars I checked into before buying my '62 "Betty" was a '63 4dr with a Chev 305, floor mounted auto, and the "wrong" seats...and a near-fluorescent pink paintjob. (I think my neighbours like the blue Lark more than they'd have liked the pink one!)[:I]

Here's another nifty pink ride...seen (with a sister truck) at the recent ZM in SB. First ZM for this Champ; owner picked up a trophy straightway...
