Yeah, that would've been nice, BUT.... I've seen ALOT WORSE get restored! Surface rust abounds, but there's really not a predominance of cancer. I think it's got potential!

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

As Biggs said, I've seen worse.

Yea, it's rough...
Still, seeing it makes me wish I had a '56 Hawk again! Mine was a Power Hawk, black, 259 with od.
Twenty eight years ago I had other priorities...

Studebakers were made to drive! (Besides, they don't get lost as easy in the Wal-Mart parking lot!)

With enuff bux, anything is restorable! But this looks complete and nothing's rusted through and the glass is all there... if the floor pan looks like the trunk, the only thing unknown is the frame. Sure, it could be done...

Not an opinion on whether or not it's worth saving, just a warning to look carefully before we bid[:I] This one will need a LOT[B)]

Unless that car was sanded to bare metal at some point, I would expect it to be very rusty in places that are hard to see. The climate here can be very hard on metal because of the humidity. It might be better than it looks in the pictures, but I would doubt it. When I saw the ad I figured it was a parts car.

Clark, I hate to disagree, but there's 16 pictures, and 13 of the first 14 show rust-through- some major! I'd predict the frame is in rough shape too[xx(]

That's OK- as long as you look closer if you bid
