  • Early Studebaker Air Conditioning parts listing?

From what I've found on the internet, Studebaker first offered trunk mounted Novi AC units from 1955 to 1957, then offered Sutton underdash units in 1958.

In reviewing the 53-58 Body Parts catolog, Accessory section, don't see any mention of these units. The 1959-64 Body Parts Catalog has AC parts listings.

Anyone know why they weren't in the 53-58 Body parts catolog? Were they listed somewhere else like the Chassis Parts catolog or in some other special publication?

1955 will have its own part numbers as far as electrical as they were 6 volt. 1956 & later were all 12 volt.

ivorydan, here are a couple pictures. I have the compressor and other items too. The tag says Novi Model 54F.
