Just got Turning Wheels. The classified is full of cars I would love to buy. Just my thoughts.....Going to Washington PA next month...probably could be twisted into just one more car! 1963 Wagon with sliding roof anyone?

The September issue contained a larger amount of ads than in other issues. Lots of interesting Studebakers. One of my favorites is the 1946 M-15 truck. Seems to be a good buy.Mike - Assistant Editor, Turning Wheels

Perhaps I'm over the bug. My last really big relapse is looking really nice and running;m now if it would just move!! Yesterday thought I'd take the Clipper to church but alas ,dead solenoid, so the 61 took me there. Took the 56 out just to exercise it and it died 1/2 mile down the road. managed to limp back 200 yards at a time (sticking float?) I think it is better now but makes one reluctant to get too far from the garage. And the solenoid on a 1957 Clipper is in the most impossible place they could find--tucked snugly behind the brake booster with no room at all to get to it! They are all really old now, but sometimes it would be nice to just get in and drive without wondering if you'll get home or not. Makes you drive them less when they really need to be driven more. Back when the kids were young we had Ruttle's Roll-Ins every Wednesday; we all looked forward to the 35 mile drive and cherry cokes. But there is no such thing any more and our 'local' club is 150 miles away!Comment
